Solar Street Lamp

During our visit to the Leprosy village in Purulia last November, we were told about this solar powered street lamp.  It had been bought for the community in 2010, but had failed in early 2012.  The people who had bought it had been unable to have it repaired for some reason.  The Commandery arranged to have it repaired for the villagers, who now describe us as "The Light of the World".  This now provides a lit area in the village and complements the solar lanterns we supplied earlier; the Gentleman in the foreground is carrying one of them.
