Scottish Invetiture

David Haywood and I were pleased to be able to be part of the Annual Investiture of the Grand Bailiwick of Scotland a week ago.  We were given the warmest of welcomes and were treated as honoured guests together with the Deputy Lord Provost of Glasgow and David Gibb of the Grand Magistral Council.

You can read an account of the Investiture here

Hospital St Louis

You may all remember that we make a donation to this  hospise in Jerusalem.  They were recently told by the Israeli government that the standard of the rooms needed to be improved.  Tony Hilton made a personal donation to the hospital and these are photos that were sent to him to show the standard of the new rooms that have been upgraded recently.

Correction

Please note the events page has been updated as the date we had for the Southern Investiture was incorrect, and is also incorrect in the Newsletter.  Our Bailiff has put us right!!

I add this comment from him:
"I hope that as many of you as possible will be able to attend as Louis had to work extremely hard to get the venue of Exeter Cathedral, & having gone to their Investiture last year, I can tell you that it is a lovely setting.

Best wishes,
Charles"
