Feast of St Lazarus

Canon Christopher led a lovely service for our Patron Saint's feast day.  This was followed by a bring and share meal.  It is a shame that a number of members were indisposed on the day, however we were supported by friends from The Commandery of Cumbria and by a number of Postulants.

Quiz

A very big Thank You to Fr Christopher, Phil our Quiz Master, but especially to the people of Sacred Heart and St Alban  for raising much of the £520 for our funds and St Joseph's Penketh for hosting the event.

The children received a special prize for being extremely well behaved, and for getting more points than their mums

Walking Quiz Manchester

The rules for admission to this club read: No Branded affiliations, No checked shirts, no diamanté embezzlement (!), no exaggerated jewellery,  no man bags, no polo shirts, no sports apparel.  Cool huh!

I liked the title, "Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary", you do not get many of them!
