Health care
We have sponsored health care for the leprosy village near Purulia. This is provided by the Leprosy Mission from their hospital in Purulia. The above picture shows a number of the villagers after they have had cataract surgery.
This picture shows the issuing of disability certificates to the villagers
The villagers are far happier to have treatment in the village rather that trying to get to the hospital. Dr Darlong, who we met when we visited in 2012 is seen testing blood pressure.
An eye test prior to getting spectacles
Inspection and treatment of a foot ulcer. As in the previous nutrition post is is heart-warming to see the smiling faces and gives us all the reward we could hope for.

Correction
Please note the events page has been updated as the date we had for the Southern Investiture was incorrect, and is also incorrect in the Newsletter. Our Bailiff has put us right!!
I add this comment from him:
"I hope that as many of you as possible will be able to attend as Louis had to work extremely hard to get the venue of Exeter Cathedral, & having gone to their Investiture last year, I can tell you that it is a lovely setting.
Best wishes,
Charles"
